What engine should i buy to build my own EV?
-
Hey, there's a new battery that can be charged in just seconds.
-
I will like to convert My Limo Sedan into An Electric Car that I could Drive All Day without Charging.!!!! It will attract more Clients to my Business, knowing that they are Not Going to be Charged a Gas Fuel Surcharge ..
-
Hi can a Chevrolet optra be converted to electrical? Can the ev handle a a/c?
-
NO tune ups? I know you're wanting to push NO GAS but an electric motor has parts that wear out as well. So....a tune up is inevitable eventually. Bearings, grease so forth. but I'm with ya!
-
How things have changed in 7 years. Battery tech etc.

These god damn lobbyists keep tugging on the balls of the EVs ""Well there's a mountain of coal burning to generate electricity to power this car". The unspoken reality is that, the burning mountain of coal generates electricity to for the whole communities to run appliances such a fridges, microwaves, washers and charge laptops and cars.
But, what really grinds my gears is that crude oil is burned to distill gasoline, its the other side of the conversation that'll never be spoken about and if you don't inform yourself with your own efforts then you'll continue to buy products that are in the pipeline from the corporations. -
Keep in mind that fast EV superchargers can be easily installed near every electric railroad, and electric railroads are pretty much everywhere.
-
"It a nice car but, Its call a blue mean because" .... No, you like mushrooms lol
-
there's no carbon emissions if you're charging it from your own solar panels.
-
thirty miles and then eight hours of charge time ? i would love to have an EV but it's not practical yet ? he their are
-
I bet if you traded that EXTREMELY powerful DC motor. For a underpowered, yet over-ramped, 3 phase inductive motor. (Your using all gears of manual transmission anyway.) You could get ten times the distance on one charge. (But you wouldnt be able to peel out, take off in high gear, etc.) Its what your product is missing. An economy AC powered package. Not just a powerful DC package.
-
If you could design, and build your own custom lead acid battery, or even better, work with other battery materials. You would be way ahead of many others in your same market. This is obtainable by you.
-
Yeah it's called a teala
-
How does braking work since there are no power brakes or ABS? I've heard of a guy using a vaccum pump to simulate the vacuum created by the engine and hydraulic fluid to stop better.
-
wheel bearing grease...
-
"Gives up the ability to refuel it anywhere"
Oh yes, because I just so happen to have a petrol bowser in my garage, at my friend's place, at work, in every room of my house, etc...
The thing people don't realise, is that energy distribution for electric vehicles has been put in place over 100 years ago, and it's just the fast chargers that need to be installed. No more carrying explosive fuels on trucks, processing them, losing them to vapours... etc -
Nikola Tesla invented the electromagnetic generator, the cheaper way to be self sufficient, but greedy fossil fuel & nuclear power companies would not allow it.
