Homemade dump trailer I built for farm tractor, using a Gehl grinder mixer rolling frame the rest i built and has a two stage single action Hydraulic cylinder to use, was used to haul firewood and logs, had up around 2500 lbs on it, and dumps easy no problems, frame used to hold a ton of ground grain, and the mixer weight was around 2500 lbs, so it can haul the weight of whatever you can toss in it,

A dump would be nice for that as well. I'm also heating the house with wood. I have a 4x8 cart that I use. I can burn a 57" log in a Wood Doctor Outdoor Furnace. I just throw it in the cart Bring it up & throw it in. I have a frame already made w a box on it that my buddy gave me, it would be the perfect candidate for something you built!

Great! I have a small animal rescue farm. I would need one to haul manure & dump.
Nice job!!!! -
Well the trailer uses a single action cylinder, two stages, it uses the tractors hydraulics, and to let it back down, i put the lever on my remote on Float, the trailer will haul a heavy load, running gear is from a old Gehl Grinder mixer, the machine weight was around oh 2500 not including the 1 ton of grain it held and mixed, so no matter what i stick in the back, its goin to hold it, i used it mainly for hauling firewood.

Nice. I'm looking to build one mostly to haul dirt and clay. Is this connected to the tractor hydraulics or does it have its own.
