Uhmm? The people who wrote this dialogue have never themselves been to Masada nor did they research it? Well, I've been there and much of what they suggest is horseshit.

Total bollocks - Hadrian's Wall is a few miles south of the Anglo-Scottish border near the west coast and a lot further south of the border on the east coast. Hadrian's Wall runs along the Tyne valley from the North Sea. England goes all the way up to the River Tweed, approx half way from Newcastle to Edinburgh, which was named after a King of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Northumbria. In any case Hadrian's Wall was border marker - any land south of the wall were Roman and paid taxes to Rome; the land north of the wall for most of the time wasn't part of the Roman Empire. Anyone bringing goods into Roman lands would have to pay a tax.
