Heyfield Vintage Rally - 18th May 2013. A 10hp Jelbart stationary engine being started up...just before the belt driving the water pump slipped off. The engine was shut down, the belt put back on the pulleys, realigned and then started up again only to have the same thing happen two more times! These engines were made in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Very collectable, highly sought after and fairly rare. I love these engines for their unique 'hit & miss' exhaust note - there is nothing so unpredictable or quite like it. I actually own one of the smallest of the Jelbart engine line up; a 4hp hopper cooled version with a single flywheel. Thanks for watching the vid!
