After watching a couple of your vids, I'm eager to watch more before I switch over to heavy-haul myself. Thanks for sharing these tie-down segments especially. Having operated some heavy equipment in the past, it's also interesting to see the commentary on the control arrangements in some of these machines. Extra chains never hurt anything, I agree... Well done!

Sergei,Good looking rig, what is the loaded deck height? The next time your in the market for a new lowboy, please let me know. We build 55 ton lowboys with an 18", or 20" deck height. My company manufactures lowboy trailers with the highest safety factor in the industry and back them with one of the best warranties as well. We are located in SW Michigan and have three plants where we build our trailers. If you have an opportunity please check out our website at www.prattinc.com. Take care and be safe.

you have cool videos, safe journey friend.

are those 3/8 or 1/2 inch chains and you shouldn't tie it down to the tracks

I really like your new truck. Always have been a MACK fan and was wondering how well the newer models performed.
interesting series of videos you have that i just found so i will be tuning in more often. Good luck with your new job and truck. -
I have a friend he uses old fire hose which he cuts and he uses with his chains so he doesn't scratch the paint.

с диагональными стяжками понятно....а какую роль играют боковые??

Hi Sergei, As I told you, I was a heavy haul trucker in Europe, and had to use often those heavy outrigger boards. What I did was; a piece of climbming rope, make a loop on one site, with a piece rubber tubing around, to have grip on the board. The other side a loop with a hand gripp. Its still heavy, butt you can atleast dregging the boards with a straith back. Sorry fort my bad inglish!

I have followed you for over a year and hope you continue to make informative and fun videos. Ignore the haters!

What size tires you running on the truck?

Nice job Sergei. also best wishes for 2015 alot off save kilometers with your new truck. I did more or less the same job in europe, with a DAF with flatbed trailer. Also to russia and other country´s in the east of europe! Nice to see you doing a real good job in the states, lot af respect for you! Cheers Mike

Hi Sergei great start to the New Year with that machine. You now up to around 55tonne you gota expect a few gear changes on the hills, all part of the fun. I agree with the comments you need to carry a small inventory of critical spare parts and tools etc. There will always be those days when u need them. Do you carry a decent set of jumper leads?
Take care. -
good video
