Must have been nice relaxing in the rear with the gear.
-
Just a part of the sick game that is war: things explode and hopefully you aren't nearby.
-
True that! Haven't come across another group like Marines! And Larry is pretty much the coolest Mexican I know. ;)
-
Hoooorah.....just found this video just saw my buddy Beltrandelrio in it. fuck yeah the best people you will work with are Marines.
-
It was an awesome video but wtf happend at the end

Some general advice: 1) Make friends - you'll never have another opportunity to work/live with a better bunch of guys with such diverse backgrounds. 2) Enjoy wherever you are - go off base and experience different things. 3) Take pictures - it's fun to look back in a few years and think, "Wow! That was some crazy shit. I miss those guys."
-
Hey there. It's a good one - I enjoyed it a lot. I don't know what to tell you, depending on the unit you're with, the experience will be different. I was stationed in Japan, Korea, North Carolina, California, and Iraq - all were very different.
-
Hey, i'm about to enlist and have looked over 100 mos's and this is the one i'm starting to set myself on. Is there anything you can tell me? I could think of 50 questions but overall did you like this job? Any combat during your deployments? Any advice? Thank you
-
Heavy equipment - not trucks. And yes, that's our job. But a Marine is, first and foremost, a rifleman. :]
-
Are you serious? lol
-
very cool. my son just joined and in at fort leonard wood learning this job :))) im a very proud dad
-
@The19paul68 1345 - good luck!
-
@yohanzo Excuse me Sir, I would like to ask you what type of MOS code is HE? If you dont mind? Cause I'm planning to join the USMC and want to do this kind of job. I mean the HE.
-
@signig44 Yeah... from old TSB. Still can't believe they made us all rock those. lol
-
@JPLIKES2SK8 HE is awesome! I truly enjoyed doing that as a Marine. I'm not sure what the ASVAB requirements are - not in the upper tail I'd imagine. Normal day... hmmm... depends on your unit and work demands at the time. Sometimes, you can seriously put in 70-80 hrs of stick-time a week. Other times, I had to improvise to keep myself busy by working with others in the 1300 field. The leadership in the MOS is pretty solid too. However, it's harder to get promoted. Good MOS tho... I liked it!
-
Hey I was wondering how hard it is to get this mos( I know how to operate HE) and also what a normal day is like if you could help me out that would be great
-
@sandmann1345 oh yeah... bernice she was mine xD yeah we named the trams after black chicks! haha i remember lobbing golf balls at the army motorpool next door on slow nights. my buddy's family owned a driving range... and one day we got a dozen boxes full of golf balls. good times.
-
@yohanzo it seems like it always is, was Malone there when you were there? we named the on rtch we had rita one of our trams was bernice haha only HE does shit like that...when we left we had to tear down hesco all wooden building to TO with the army it was pretty gay but the shop was always where everyone went
-
good old Al Asad we tore that HE shop down lol and it's the same rtch we had damn that equipment was there forever
-
