4x4 Australia’s Big Bight Expedition covered a huge hunk of Australia’s southern coast. It was three weeks of incomparable off-road exploration from Esperance in Western Australia to Baird Bay in South Australia. Taking in rugged cliffs, beautiful unspoilt beaches, and the unforgiving limestone plateaus, it was an adventure to remember. Awsome!!! How I envy you guys.

All those whiz bang low profile land Rover tyres didn't fare to well. people need to stop reading best 4x4 of the year and actually learn what works in the bush.
-
Great video! Couldn't find any tag-along tours for this trip. Does anyone know of any?

Great tutorial on getting out of the sand and plugging blown tyres. Have you ever lost an entire vehicle like from a broken axle or burned up transmission.

I have a great shot of the night from the drone but I think yours is much cooler

Interesting history and beautiful country. Thanks for sharing the story.

it's interesting how much the Discoverys struggled in the sand. Just goes to show that fancy traction control and engine mapping etc is no substitute for tyre surface area and clearance...
-
What tires performed best i was worried watching the rovers with rims and minimal sidewalls

what a great movie/travel doco. Thanks

I was going to comment how good this video was, the production, effort, etc etc
Then at 47:30 ol mate said "Suck me dry with a Yabbie Pump"
Now i am wondering where we got separated at birth??

National Park with vulnerable nature and unique species. How do you enjoy such a brittle beauty? Right, drive over it in a convoy of 3-ton SUVs. Is it still a surprise that Australia remains the place with the biggest number of extinct plants and animals. In fuck-up we trust. Should be on AUD notes.

A big thank you for share with the rest of us such wonderful experience !!!

I see in a few places guys driving on grassy dunes, pretty sure that's frowned upon on most beaches. Surely there was beach access or places to cross where driving on native flora could be avoided.
