So how does the Buhler Steiger come together?
-
The Versatile plant was sold to a Texan named Buhler as a constraint imposed bny the monopolies and mergers commission when New Holland bought Case. CNH decided they wanted tio keep the Steiger line and not the Versatile line.Buhler has since sold the company to a Russian, its not made anywhere else only in the Winnipeg plant. The current range of New Holland 4WD tractors is actually a Case Steiger with a badge and a paint job and doesnt have anything at all from the Versatile line.

I first heard this on my phone where it sounded like Bhler Steiger DOH !
-
Buhler Versatile, not Steiger. Versatile is Canadian and is where the current New Holland 4 wheel drive tractors developed from. Versatile bought by Ford in early 90's then bought by New Holland. Then Versatile Canada somehow started making tractors again calling them Buhler. Didn't know they made it to the land of Perogies.

Buhler Steiger ? What's that then ? Didn't know they worked together, also if you get yer spade out you'll find that the compaction is actually a little bit deeper than your cultivator
