Yea but the german gun got 16 hits in 4 seconds.
That american gun got 22 hits in 13 seconds.
I would assume that that is more important than accuracy unless you are at a shooting range where the goal is maximum hits. -
yet one typical piece of anti-German propaganda. Has little practical value. American M3 submachinegun is a crude weapon made of cheap materials and it is nothing in comparison with MP38 but represented here as something really worthy. By the way, MG42 continues to be a machinegun widely used and produced (with little modification) up to the present.
-
Lol. Most modern machine guns were build off the German designs.
-
This was used to instill confidence in our new US Army recruits that would be facing this MG42- a monster of a machine gun. Truth is that thing was a beast and would cut a man in half!
-
Imagine how many recruits died because of this :/
-
Interesting. In fact the main difference between the MG-42 and the US machines guns were not the sound, the number of bullets per minutes and so on but the way to use them. Look at 0.35. The German used machines guns to "nail" the enemy on the ground and let infantery take him. So rarely small burst but long ones. The US way of using is small burst: see at 1.20 the way US guys use German equiment and compare to the way the German used it at 0.35.

Their bite is worst than the bark. 8mm rounds are man stoppers and it'll put an exit wound the size of an acorn in you.
-
Who was facing those bullets? Why the Rothchilds of course... not!
-
Germany gun is best!
-
Imagine thy would be honest and say: the german machine guns are much better than our heavy and slow firing machine guns but we can easier replace dead soldiers
-
Got a kick out of the accuracy comps.
As far as I know, and vets please correct me, but since the 1930's, tactics have been to employ suppressing fire in concert with air (if available), artillery, tanks, mortars or as a last resort flanking.
Still, thanks for the vids.
These are priceless. -
Fallschirmjägergewehr 42 say it all really
-
Lol...American propaganda! I'd hate to be the American soldier to learn of the lies of the video, it'd be a short lived lesson of life. "...their rate of fire is basically the same but our weapon is more accurate..." Wtf-Mp40 range is up to 100 meters, Thompson is 50 meters, plus the mp40 has a slower rate of fire...Americans...how did we win the war? Oh wait, we overwhelmed them.:)America Fuck. Yeah!
-
holding the mp40 by the mag was the wrong way to hold it, you where ment to have the hand behind.
-
Man, gotta love that MG 34.
-
This is pure propaganda.

This is pure propaganda. If you look at the 4:11 when the camera pans behind the soldiers while firing there is only 1 silhouette of a target. Then at 4:35 when they count how many bullets hit the target there are 2. haha!
-
Lol, the German machine guns were far superior to the American weapons, it's undeniable.
Even though MG-42 and 34 were extremely innacurate , they were made to spread the bullets out and shoot all over the place to supress the enemy, it wasn't really as simple as point and shoot lmao.
