The only large car manufacturer in Germany that is any good anymore is Porsche. Much the way all German brands use circular logo's to distract you from the fact that it was designed by a bunch of square headed morons; German automakers fill the vehicle with a bunch of gimmicky electronics and aesthetics to jack up the price and distract you from the fact that none of it enhances the driving experience.

This explains why the rest of the world is pretty much a PUPPET to Germany. Basically the German companies are controlling the other non-German companies. Chrysler was controlled by Mercedes Benz and it uses German ZF transmissions. Kia and Hyundai cars were designed by Peter Schryer who was an Audi designer. BMW owns Rolls-Royce and Mini. Audi owns Bugatti and Bentley. Benz through a partnership with Nissan and Aston Martin are providing engines to them. So we really do not see the reverse occurring where the rest of the world is controlling Germany.

The Germans used to make the best cars, until Lexus came along. What this video doesn't show is the horrific servicing and maintenance costs that come with German cars. I will take a reliable Toyota/Lexus over an overpriced and often unreliable German car.
