I have driven uner the pedestrian overpass on the way to Coquitlam bC. yes. the truck did not have a safty switch and driver was unaware of the arm was up.
-
If he looked into his rear view mirrors once in awhile like every 10 seconds, he wold have seen the box up.
-
It was a sidewalk over pass or it wold have never happened
-
i drive a truck with 2 PTOs and you can't engage them while moving...
just saying -
Just show some random peace love and compassion everyday. You never know when your going to die. Be remembered last for showing others love! That is the absolutely the way to God
-

-
I hope they sued the company who made that bridge....that bridge collapsing like that ....what a joke
-
I pick up garbage and from my experience I have never opened top door while going down highway requires PTO to be on I'm thinking it's a spare truck in yard and it's shit wiring malfunction
-
They should've sued the company and the truck manufacturer. Put a fricken alarm in the truck!!! This costed someone's life. This was someone's father and husband.
Like if
You agree -
so was their a lawsuit
-
Company should have been fined for obviously hiring someone unqualified to operate this type of vehicle. Why are truck drivers' wages so low? You're looking at it here.
-
He f#@$ed up sadly it cost him his life you can only do it wrong once
-
A cheap company cost this man his life, I hope the company was sued.
-
why don't you speak like your in the us. kilometers I don't anyone who says thet unless your in England you mean one mile
-
If you can think it...
-
Regardless of the truck driver's failure or not, it IS a bad equipment design. Equipments should be foolproof enough for these simple mistakes. There should be safety interlock that prevents operating the hidraulics when the vehicle is moving. It is simply not acceptable that the driver did not hear the alert because of the noise. It should be loud enough to be hearable. It would not cost too much and it is easy to solve, so this is a massive design fail.
-
His family should sue the truck manufacturer and the bridge builder.
