A natural. A very well spoken young lady. She takes a second to look at the camera while explaining. She has talent, not only as a mechanic but also a presenter.. Well done...

I love these videos, my sons will watch and learn something because it's a smart young lady showing them how to do things.

She needs to correct her terminology valve cover is at the top tappet cover is on the side number one cylinder is at the front, the caps on the exhaust valves are called lash caps, the half moon things she refers to are called keepers, not sure if I missed it but she forgot to check the valve guides before grinding the seats, adjusting valves you want number one cylinder at top dead center you will find that on the timing indicator and the manual will tell you you can do intake and exhaust and one valve on each of the other cylinders then you turn the engine over 360 degrees and do the rest of the valves according to the manual. For the most part she did ok for a cute girl not minding to get greasy we need more girls like her in the world!

Valve lash is done hot! Springs should have been checked for poundage or replaced!
-
Your supposed to lap the new valves into the newly ground seats, then check with a light to see if they are sealing! Don't follow this amateur she is wasting her time!
-
You should take it to a good machine shop and have Stellite ceramic valve seats installed! These old engines have non hardened valve seats that get hammered out with non lead fuel. If your going to take the head off you might as well do it right!

use plastic glove

Thank you. OK.

I am sure the people that make these videos have really good intentions but..., never use a torque wrench like that. Cringe. Something else I noticed in other videos, she needs some sort of parts tray to keep engine parts in. The video on the governor replacement had her laying new parts on that dirty frame. Otherwise, informative and entertaining. Oh, gloves. Just some simple neoprene disposables work fine.

Very pretty mechanic!

How do old farm engines handle unleaded fuel? Do most come with hardened valve seats, or is farm use not hard enough to trash the exhaust seats without an additive?

As good......or better than any I have ever seen.......beautiful, intelligent, well-spoken young LADY....
