This has less to do with power than most people probably think. The hill probably worked FOR the F-150. It causes more down force on the rear end, allowing it to manage better in those conditions. As long as the driver can manually put it into 2nd gear and/or lock out the overdrive(s), it's not as impossible as it may seem at first glance. Any Dodge or Chevy of the same weight class would be just as capable.
And also, as mentioned before me, I don't think the driver of that big rig was in there instagraming. He was doing his part as well. -
this is true, it happens very often on slick wet clay, the problem with the Kenworth in this case is that is not equipped with double lock up, it only has power divider that engages the front differential, but like a car will only send power to the tires with less traction, but if the guy driving the big truck just led go of the gas pedal that F150 wouldn't go any where, all that Kenworth needed was a little pull to get going.
