Machines | Flying Car Invention - Carcopter (Science Fair Engineering and Robotics Project)
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Akira Higaki and Stephen Schatz create a Carcopter, which combines the advantages of an omniwheel car and a quadcopter for their high school science fair project. The Carcopter was created to have maximum mobility in one vehicle. It is very versatile for future applications. Omniwheels allow the vehicle to go in many directions, and the sliders give clearance for bigger propellers. This project won the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Award.
