Million Dollar lawsuit for unsafe workplace.
-
After working in numerous factories, experience leads me to believe that they were more than likely told NOT to use those safety procedures BECAUSE it WOULD slow down production. 99% of foremen that I've encountered, no matter how low or how high up, no matter how little or major the company, have no problem risking YOUR safety for production. But that's just my experience.

advise to you..guys.after high school don't get full time job. stay in the school.Get part time job...I see a lot guys working in this industry .are good $! but you are wasting your good time!!...

That machine was racist.
-
poor dude,it his just his first job.
hope his boss sends his fiancé lots of money for his death -
The manager should be imprisoned and crushed by 2000 lbs. A lock out/tag out for each employee working on that e stopped machine should have been utilized. The aforementioned machine will be locked out/tagged out until the last employee removes his lock. Major lawsuit applies here for improper training, negligence, unsafe protocol and mismanagement. Boycott this incompetent company. Problem should have been addressed and remedied as soon as it occurred. Shame on you greedy Bacardi simpletons.

Fucking terrible. And you could see in the pic he was proud of himself to be starting his first day. He had his uniform on and everything wanting to show off to his fiancé. This one hit me for some reason. What a shame.

I was a temp in production job, got hired ft, few years later they told me I was also to be safely rep. basically added to my already ft operator job more work with no added time. I checked extinguishers and other devises, gave suggestion, reported people being unsafe. basically the devises get checked out by government people and company is fined if not in order or extinguishers expired. when workers did unsafe things and I reported it I was ignored completely, same with all my suggestions. $$ controls everything, humanity is distant 2nd at best

..?? Why did they start the machine knowing he was down there??
Also wonder if this resulted in a lawsuit....
