Hi I found the blades on Ebay; they were new but old stock. I purchase the 7/32" rivets from a Birmingham firm and made the rivet swagging tools on my lathe; 4 of the rivets were larger and had to be turned with a stepped down diameter. The ledger plates in the fingers have been sharpened whilst in situ. as I could not find new ones. I am not getting any takers on Ebay as yet, but I won't let it go for much less than I am asking.

Nice machine! Cuts really well, where did you get the blades for this? Does it use ledger plates, did you get new ones also?

Dear Mark, this was a beautiful trip down memory lane for me, as I saw one of these being used at the Alexander Bay diamond mine sporting fields when I was a little boy in primary school. This is the place at the mouth of the Orange river in South africa where "diamonds are forever" James Bond movie was partially filmed The machine used to fascinate me, and we used to ask for the old cast iron teeth to use as pretend knives. Did you buy this one on an auction?Kindest regards, Charl.
