Nissan Gripz hope it will come out next year I need one

Social media says he was watching Harry Potter on that screen at those speed.

The primary cause of the accident was indeed the truck driver who "went" when it wasn't safe to do so. He will hopefully be found guilty of vehicular manslaughter (already has previous moving violations). And Josh Brown liked to listen to audio books, and the portable DVD player found in the wreckage was probably for his kid... Josh would not have been stupid enough to watch a video while doing 60 MPH on a highway with intersections.

Why is something that happened two months ago just now this weeks 'breaking' news?
-
I've read that the tesla driver was watching a movie on another device while driving, if so its not the cars fault. And on top of that, tesla tells you to be prepared to take control of the car if need be. It is he drivers responsibility to pay attention to the road, and so again, the accident is not the cars fault.

I think leaving the EU was a marvelous idea. Many analysts have been saying the British economy has been over inflated for a long time and the exit vote simply popped the bubble that was bound to pop anyway. But enough about politics, woooooo go Tesla! Cant wait for my Model 3!!!
-
For someone who was championing tesla and auto-pilot, i dont know why that guy didnt follow the basic instructions of hitting the brakes manually. I dont think this will impact tesla sales as so many will buy it for manual use.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds that robot snake rather unnerving. The odd thing is I'm not afraid of real snakes, I even had a pet Royal Python in the family when I was young. Is it just too many sci-fi films I've watched or what?

this incident DID NOT HAPPEN THIS WEEK!!!! If you inform us about something, prepare all informations before it!!
-
About that autopilot fatality, it's suspected that the driver of the Tesla was watching a movie instead of paying attention to the road. Plus, he was a known speeder, his last ticket was for doing 64 MPH in a 35MPH zone.

never trust a auto car...

love the video

I look forward to the next AP update.
A local TV station says a movie was playing on the Tesla display after the crash. Afaik the standard car doesn't allow that so maybe he hacked it a bit. Watching a movie could be problematic. Another witness said she was passed by the car while going 85mph and I thought the AP was limited to 70ish mph. More info needed. In any case, seems Tesla is off the hook. -
Amateur robotics for the win! I'll keep an eye on that for when I have my Model 3!

EU = Serfdom to the elite globalist .01% and their unelected technocratic bureaucrats.

Why does it say fatal if nobody died?

4% is not a small margin in favour of Brexit.... it's the democratic will of the electorate.

Don't apologize for Tesla stories. If they're the only ones innovating then they get more stories. If Toyota was innovating and making more progress on their HFCV cars you would do more Toyota stories. All eyes are on Tesla because they are Cinderella right now. Once they release the Model 3 we'll know if they're the "Cinderella story" come to fruition. Also, on the Autopilot accident...I'm kind of annoyed about all the attention paid to it. If this was any other car it wouldn't have near the traction and was completely unknown until the NHTSA got involved. If it was a Ford with Automatic cruise control and lane keeping assist no one would care. I guess when Tesla makes the most noise about autopilot you get the good press and the bad. I agree with others that I think the truck was in the wrong turning in front of traffic, but the driver not paying attention...no automated system can help that.
