Amateur home movie Making a hay stack with a horse drawn contraption. Chicken farming. Chicken farmer dressed in shorts and long socks, interesting! Steam ploughing with a traction engine in the field. A man takes his horse which is pulling a small bit of equipment across a field as they turn the hay over, a young girl in a large hat walks over to meet them. A heavy horse is pulling a large, heavily loaded cart across a field as more straw is loaded on, one man guides the horse, another forks the straw from the ground and throws it up whilst the man on top of the cart ensures the load is even. A man walks a horse away with an empty wagon. 4 gentlemen try to finishing loading a cark full of straw but there is a strong breeze, making things more difficult, 2 stand on the floor passing it up and the other 2 are on top. A shot of a conveyer belt leaning against what appears to look like a large mound of straw. Another shot of a piece of equipment is then shown. The men fork the straw from the wagon onto the conveyer belt, which transports the straw to the top of the mound and the man on top distributes it, there are a couple of horses in the foreground, one of which wanders around a bit. A piece of claw-shaped machinery lifts straw from the floor and onto the top of the pile, 2 men stand on top raking it around whilst another is sorting out a horse on the floor. The horse is maneuvered into the correct place. A close up of the machinery at work, a man fixes it into place and it is then hoisted up into the air and the straw is placed on top of the pile, those on top then spread it evenly around. This is repeated a few times. A man is shown wandering around his chickens throwing them some food from a pot he holds in his hands, there appears to be a main road in the background and greenhouses in front of that. The man has white chickens one side of the fence and darker colored ones on the other, he stands in the middle feeding both sets. The chickens are shown foraging. A plough is being towed along a field and appears to be attached via a line both to the back and front to steam powered tractors that seem to be pulling it along the field.
