NBT with its partner GFA Consulting Group of Germany has conducted Farm Field Day on demonstration pilot farm for farmers of Bukhara Province, provincial government officials and stakeholders to demonstrate mechanized cotton harvesting using advanced and modern agricultural machinery provided by Private Sector Partners under ADB funded TA-8567UZB: Innovations for Agricultural Modernization. Participants were demonstratedadvanced and modern agricultural equipment designed for mechanized cotton harvesting, high quality seeds and chemicals and provided information on international best practices and cotton cultivation activities undertaken on demonstration plot by qualified and experienced local agricultural specialists. The private sector companies, John Deere, Syngenta, Case New Holland provided information on latest products available in Uzbekistan. Location: Chori Ruzi farm, Jondor district, Bukhara Province.
