What will archaeologists say in 1000 years?

No filter fabric on the tile? How do you keep it from plugging up?

Of all your videos this one is my favorite. I watch it periodically.

Beautiful soil.

Obvious question here besides Amish community...flood prone?....as it seems flat land?

Tile does not flush fertility from the soil. Phosphorous and potassium bond to the soil so they can't leave the field unless the soil erodes from the field. Tile helps reduce erosion which helps reduce nutrients in waterways.

Our corn and soybeans do not grow well in wet soil. Too much water affects yield. In the long term tiled fields pay off.

does drainage tile flush fertility over time in the long term. i know it lowers the water table in a field so heavy equipment and run
