Machines | F250 diesel towing tree in dump trailer.
videos | at work | information | view | construction
First and fore most sorry that this video looks like crap my camara was not set on auto adjust so it turned out blue. I had a load of trees on my 2006 F250. When i first started to take off you can hear the motor rev some the truck was just spinning so i switched it into 4 high. There was so much weight in the dump trailer that the breaks overheated on the trailer and my brake controller would keep turning off. Overall i am happy with how the truck handles a load i use it like a truck should be heavy loads. Will try to get more videos soon as i am always hauling firewood and gravel and sand. Maybe i can get a better video as far as sound goes when i can roll down the windows so you can hear the turbo with the dual 5 inch straight pipes it sounds like a big rig especially when engine breaking. Thanks for watching and please subscribe

Nice truck, how many miles on it now and hows it treating you? Im upgrading from my 94 f250 to a 99-02ish in another 50k or so miles. Can't get anything that new, I don't believe in owing $.

@Kayton A the trailer is loaded with metal for a scrap run I will try and get a video on how it works once I empty it out. The truck is tough as nails hauled a bull dozer with it last week on my Gooseneck amazing how good it pulls.

Very nice trailer and truck. Nice load of wood too! I was confused by the use of 4x4 though.

sounds really good

@FordsAreSick11 yes i went with the dual magnaflow system straight piped no mufflers and deleted my cats at the same time turbo spools much faster and more low end power from the faster spool.

@gdogdieseldually no i have hauled 16,000 lbs with it a couple times once with another dump i have and again recently with my gooseneck pulls good.
-
is that the most weight you have hauled with the truck?

I could have but i like to use my tow haul for the engine breaking and it wont engage in 4 low. Thanks for watching and commenting. If i would have been in 4 low i could tow that without even knowing it good idea.

Should have used 4 low
