Loved it ..Great way to end thee show with Ed Well-burning the rubber in there!!

Good jobs and hard to see GMs in trouble , love there cars from C to C , - IF the excuse me to fixes on issue of that company , first : the hard competitions , any use GM for a daily use cars , understand that out side design is not the case , it's engenireing issues , A- Breaking , noises, and sequeqes , that's comes over time and made it hard to stand .
B- Mechanical issues that made it harder to keep with .
c- Smoothness of the ride that desapears buy time without a reason.
all in all GM is great company no other company had its print as GMs did , but truth has be told , the engineering team look at consumers deferentially , especially after 1979 , found it clearly that they changed there point views of consumers, so they lose them especially the car markets .
when it comes to HD industry, light trucks and SUVS pickups , where advancing , why? because they understand what the consumers needs there , and they targeted that needs , so keep up good works, 😉 -

Seeing the master himself in his element and his well articulate soft spoken demeanor brings a joy to the GM car brand. There is no one better than Ed Welburn Jr. to share this amazing look into the heart of GM design.
-
How many "re badge Korean bukt GM" does GM sell? I would love to see your figure that you call " a lot.

Old boys club, old stories, lame interviewer. The Volt is a move in the right direction but they still got outdone by Tesla. I can't help but wonder if an even bigger shake up would have been better for GM. New bloood or they will sputter or fail again.

Wow

I listened to the PodCast and just had to see the video. I felt great for Peter that he got to relive a fantastic and exciting time in his life and in automotive history. Thanks to the AutoLine guys for sharing this - for all the crap that gets kicked on to the automobile, this makes me feel good for being a car guy.
-
Fantastic insight! Thanks for a great production and thanks to GM for allowing access....

Best show ever! What a privilege to see GM design!
-
Great video! The access to this area is a really special privilege. The greatest designs of GM's heyday all came from this building. It's incredible! All you GM haters need to just go away. This is hallowed ground, and we are lucky to be allowed inside this place. When were we ever let into the design studio for a Norwegian automotive giant? Wait. That would be a toboggan factory. Never mind. LOL!!

To see Peter at the beginning and through out this presentation looking and feeling like he's going to Disney World for the first time was priceless. It made me feel really happy for Peter DeLorenzo and my buddy John. It's guys like them that keep us tuned in. I do agree about the bad quality of this video. I had it AIRPLAY on my IPad to my 47 inch bedroom TV and after 20 minutes I sent back to the IPAD screen. TY John Peter GM

And today GM claims to be the greatest car company in the world based on the fact that they sell alot of rebadged Korean built GMs to China and have bought into local Chinese brands. Again. Show me ONE internationally commpetitive US built car. After years of waiting and 100 billion dollars to re-structure and be competitive. Where are these new, amazing US cars ? Im not seeing them. Its remarkeable how this doesnt seem to concern anyone. And my country... Is perfectly fine by the way.

14:20 Does GM offer those Color shells Clear for RC enthusiasts? They look about big enough for the Traxxas X0-1. Maybe some of the colors is spray form, as well.

It is very heartening to know we saved great work and the jobs of talented and skilled workers. Its typical defeatism to bitch about GM and their "bailout". "Why even try? Fine, just lay down and die." So quick to give up and throw it all away. Even when your home team is down, you still at least give moral support. Fans of the other team will always try to deride and denigrate "our team". Ignore them. They are ours "warts and all". Deal with it. Demand they improve.
-
Also, Nord posing as concerned American, it's none of your issue. Now go back to pretending your country isn't collapsing under its own excesses.
-
They are paying just respect to the designers and, on other occasions, engineers, and so on who actually made the cars. The Execs, motivated and ruled by their lust for money over making better cars, were responsible for running GM into the ground. Not the guys who honestly wanted to make better cars. So spare us your BS ignoring the actual problem, greed for greed's sake, only bitching about the unfortunately needed cure, saving the good and talented workers from their greedy overlords.

Thanks for the show, but really, in this day and age is there some good reason for not using high def? Watching the low quality of this video on a large monitor was somewhat painful.
-
John, you get so excited and take a genuine interest in the people you interview, Letterman should watch autoline!!!
-
Wow, The Quality is so much better. I glad to see Peter Happy....
