Brings back some interesting memories. We were hauling off the top and if you didn't get it down in #1 you were dead shortly thereafter. No brakes as in years ago and straight down on both sides and no retarder or jake. They put a jake on it later on but I never got to use it. Tough old truck but I liked the 35 better with the 12-V.

I think you can be pretty sure that it is a conversion . . .

It's a Powershift transmission. You manually shift as your RPM's go up but there is no clutch.

Is shifting automatic?Or manual gear with clutch ?

AWESOME in 1989 I ran a jolopy just like that one!! YIKES !! Yuo would just about go deaf at the end of the day --- that was of course if the exhaust didn't choke ya first... ALSO -- love the trainer seat seen at 1:29
