This machine video explains the design of the LGM-118A Peacekeeper also known as the "MX", which was land-based deployed by the United States in 1986. It could carry up to 10 re-entry vehicles, all guided, each armed with a 300kt reentry vehicle (RV). A total of 50 were in service starting in 1986. The United States started an engineering requirement development process combining the previous design rocket concepts into a single platform to the MX. The specifications for the MX were fixed in February 1972, and the advanced development program started in late 1973. At the time, MX was to be based in existing Minuteman silos, in keeping with the original ICBM-X concept of MX as essentially a bigger design. Someone here just said there's been 1000 nuclear test done world wide that's not completely right the nuclear power's of the world have actually exploded 2500 nuclear bombs. The United States has by itself exploded close to 1500 nuclear weapons since the Manhattan project second is Russia with 750 tests that leaves China, France, India, Pakistan, and England also north Korea the numbers might not be perfect but pretty close.

I worked at Vandenberg during the MX program. They actually built a road and shelters to test this "shell game" basing concept.

Each MX vehicle, regardless of wether fake or not, just looks looks like an EMD Class 66 locomotive. The most impressive MX models in H0 scale are made by Mehano in Slovenia. The final fight for world government will be between Fleischmann and Märklin. Be careful, think twice: the world ans motorola count on you: where will you use your transport vehicle?
