Wicked cool.

I went down to Orschlands and bought a 5000 lb jack. You can also buy them at Tractor supply. Then I just bought a flat jack Plat for the bottom of the jack!
-
Can you tell me what jack you used?

Great Video !!!
Researching information to build a test stand myself- is there anything you would change with the set up now that it has been awhile since the video ? -
Looks good. I am a bit surprised it ran that well with no flywheel/torque converter.

is there anyway you can refer me to a mechanic I have a 1986 Caprice with over $45,000 into it and I'm looking to go with a new motor but I'm not in my hometown I'm in Texas if you can give me any help that would be awesome

very nice man hated seeing that beast go into a heavy beast lol! But all about builders application! overall nice!

I'm really impressed with the motor stand. I need to build one to test my 406 sb I just built for my 91GMC Sierra 4x4.
-
excellent job.

But the whole point of an engine test stand is to run the engine under load? How do you dissipate 300 kW (500+ Hp) ? No water pipes, etc unless I'm missing something.
-
Awesome idea on the rear (trailer jack) great and well thought out design. Thanks for sharing.
-
How did you build the stand? I just need to know what to use to build one so I can get my small block 400 to crank
-
can you put that in a Toyota prius by 3 o'clock please
-
how much you got it in total just sub and getting ready to build one
-
Cool video, but the camera was on some kind of trip it was wobbling around like was on acid I thought it was me at first. Want to !make one for my self always have engine needing testing. Liked the cart sir.

Awesome job! .............................Mexican chrome! LOl!

Duayne as long as you drill a hole and weld on a nut that you can tighten down there won't be any movement. Also if you put your radiator on the front like mine I'd make a bracket to attach the radiator to then make it detachable from the stand with pins that way you can remove the radiator quickly in case you wanna do a cam swap instead of unbolting it.

My name is Duayne Wagner, using my wife's web sight. Do you have the plans for sale including the material list? I would be interested in them. The tubing sizes used would be the biggest help. Don't know much about computer use on these sights. Been building engines for dirt and drag for years, time I built a stand. Your's sounds pretty good!

you cant find a suburban like that for a decent price
