Machines | ECU Chip Tune - How To Increase Horsepower
videos | at work | information | view | construction
How chip tuning works (engine re-flash). What is an ecu chip tune? What is an engine reflash? How much horsepower will a chip tune provide for a car? What parameters of the engine does the ECU alter so that the car creates more power? This video is the first part of two videos, explaining different ways an ECU can make your car faster. I'm more interested in less power more mpg ,kph because we have a 100 kph speed limit and don't need power better economy would be better

Do most vehicles not have an air fuel ratio around 12.5:1 at full throttle anyway?
-
to tune your car you need to change ingnisions and what else
-
In most cases increasing the rev limiter will not make any power or torque increases!!
-
Now a wide band seems much more useful to have!

Can any type of engine be chipped?? Like Audi's 2.0 diesel????

What are the drawbacks of ecu chip tuning?

Dude.. first thing I think of when about to watch this was tom from Facebook haha

I recently bought a 02 3.0 liter eclipse and want to add a CAI, cat exhaust, headers to get a better performing car. With these new parts would I have to change anything else, like would I have to tune the ecu or can I install these new parts just as is
-
I am a tuner and we modify more than that:
-torque maps
-dirvers wish maps
-turbo maps
-injection duration
-Start of injection
-MAF and Egr maps.
-injected quantity to NM limiter -
so how do you know what a safe level of rpm increase is?
-
What if you have a 94 and it uses obd 1

Okay so I have a question(s). Take a HONDA CIVIC for example 115 HP if you tune he ECU it will make more HP correct? And with the HP increase the MPH will increase as well correct? And finally if you do an ECU boost whats the max you can get out of it without having to install new headers etc. Basically how much can you boost the example car (115 hp civic) to max with stock everything?

Hello!!! question: Why exhaust gas temperature is higher on engines running on lean fuel mixture?
-
ignition timing im waiting for ur video i have ecu flash for my wrx thanks bro👍

A leaner air fuel ratio actually produces more power than richer, but it also causes heat to build up in the combustion chamber which causes pre ignition detonation which destroys bearings and burns holes in pistons. The car's manufacturer can only push the edge of that performance to the extent that it's safe for the engine. The more fuel you dump in the combustion chamber the cooler and safer it will run, but will in fact make less power.
