They go up to 6 I think, could be wrong.

They are becomming more and more common. I drive a 6 axle, but I see 7 axle trucks in Ohio all the time.

Where's the hopper? What was the driver aiming when backing up? What it looks like is the driver was giving room for the EMPTY truck to get by after the EMPTY truck left the hopper. I would let the empty trucks go off the asphalt if not enough room on the road for two and keep those LOADED truck tires on the asphalt. Lucky that chain didn't wip someone. Wonder if the rears survived that.
