personally, i forget stuff all the time!.. i walk out of the door with my coffee cup and leave it on a ledge. If i drove a dump truck, this would happen to me!.. I forget my sunglasses are on top of my head. I forget and wear my running shoes to church (until i look once i'm there). My point is.. people think he is just stupid, but actually it's easy to forget things, when there isn't anything specific to warn you.

this could have only happened in turkey anyways where one can get a drivers license just by driving 100 metres in the exam.
-
well good thing no one died i guess
-
holy shit i just watched this video and was asking the same question, when i went to find the original to see if he died im completey suprised to find such a detailed explanation lol. That once in a life time youtube actually gives you exactly what your looking for :D

only happens in Turkey

@pawel Yup, I saw that also, he was smart enough to see the truck, but not smart enough to run to the last bridge support. Few people are capable of recognizing an emergency situation until after the emergency is over, lol.
-
Doesn't seem to be too big of a stretch to imagine he didn't die. The drop was far, but not *that* far. Plus, it looks like he saw it coming, and probably braced himself somewhat...or maybe just froze in terror and peed himself.

@ EdTheDumbass. Kooks =/= experts on buildings either, moron. Further, you uneducated fux, there isnt bridge physics and building physics. Physics is physics, its a constant. Duh.
-
building =/= bridge you moron.
-
jeezuz what numbskull would try to drive his fifty-something foot tall dump truck under a probably 30 foot tall bridge?!
-
Wow. It fell in its own footprint! That proves it. 911 was an inside job! Larry Silverstien said "pull it." Thats an demolition term meaning "drive the dump truck into the bridge."
-
i think that guy thought it would hit that's why he stopped
-
actually there are times when it is necessary for a dump truck to drive with the dump bed in the up position. When a driver is laying gravel over an extended area they raise the bed and drive forward in order to drop the gravel in a line. Admittedly though it probably wasn't wise to be driving at higher speeds with the bed up as this throws a dump trucks center of balance off.

@TheEnagic not all truck drivers are this stupid.
-
What a crash!
-
ummm ok ty
-
when a dump truck meets a dumb journaliste
-
Lol this is gonna be in Most Daring. Or something
-
So who gonna paid for that bridge??
-
Accident? This is no accident. This is a case of people being stupid with heavy machinery.
