DV-6-5 AUGUST 23 1997 COQUITLAM CITY This dump truck was traveling down Mariner Way, when his brakes failed. The truck then crashed head-on into a steam roller then went over an embankment The driver was stuck in his vehicle for sometime, then merged from the truck. This is not the first truck to lose his brakes on this hill. There has been six other crashes involving trucks. I have been to a couple of them in this exact spot. This city made some changes to prevent trucks from using this route, but to their disbelief, the government overturned there decision and started letting trucks use this steep hill.
