Machines | Dual Axial Flux Generator Using Hit And Miss Engine
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Thesis project for B / Engineering (mechatronic) at University of Wollongong. The generator did not meet expectations due to large airgap (6mm) caused by stator mount constraints. However, this research supported that using a hit and miss engine for a DAF generator is feasible.

Hey this is great, I've wanted to do this as well but I've started at the other end of things by trying to make a small motor run efficiently at low rpm then I'll strap an axial flux to it. have you adjusted the timing at all to maximize the power at low rpm?

Thanks Craig, but you might want to redo the video with bit of insight to the Hit and Miss Engine as well as the dual axial flux generator

dont hear much missing mate, all hitting
