Machines | Don't Have $20,000 For a Dump Truck? Landscaping
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Learn how to convert your landscaping pickup truck into an automatic dump truck for less than $20. If there isn't a loader available, you can tie off to a big log, a machine, a dumpster etc. http://landscapingemployeetrap.com/?p=145 How I went from a broke minded employee with zero money to invest to starting my own landscaping company. My last year as a landscape foreman I was stuck in a dead end job, made $24,000 and barely had enough to make the bills let alone pay off debt and student loans. Coming home to eviction and shut off notices and fighting with my wife over money problems. I remember being out to eat at a restaurant with her and some friends one evening and I was in so much financial anxiety over the bills that I excused myself into the restaurant bathroom and had an emotional breakdown. Then... My friend Dave taught me some valuable small business tips that changed my life forever and in only 6 weeks I was making enough money following his advice doing side jobs that I replaced my income and ditched my grass cutting job. My first year in business I doubled my income, 2nd year doubled it again, 3rd year even more than that. Finally, I'm humbly here to teach you the methods I learned to end the suffering and start your own damn landscaping company. The Landscaping Employee Trap Whether you dream of starting your own lawn care, snow removal or landscaping business. It's all a lot easier than you think. You don't need $20,000, a big bank loan or 5 start credit. All you need is a will to win. With a basic understanding of even shrub trimming, tree service, horticulture, garden maintenance, arboriculture, flowers, botany, gardening or any of the above combined with a will to succeed it's all very possible. love this video Keith. Good stuff.

I'd love to see able to do that but here in the UK it's so health and safety mad that that would get me banned from any dump, it's ridiculous really, I'm originally from South Africa which is alot like America so it is hard to just get the job done sometimes when there's so much higglety pigglety involved, but anyways I find a way ;)

I've put a few larger branches on the bottom, then pulled up to the pile at the dump, attached a rope from a concrete barrier at the dump to my few larger logs, then drive forward. Pulls everything out nicely!

Loved that technique 👍🏻👍🏻

u should get a dump trailer I bought one for 5 thousand new and I pick up all my mulch and u can pay for itself in a month
-
Awesome

You should by master lock hidden shackle locks it's impossible to brake them without a grinder and making a lot of noise and do a review
-
Just watched almost all your videos. I greatly appreciate the advice and tips. Now- time to get this money!

i have been doing this for years, but this year the goal is to purchase a dump trailer because what i haul most is mulch, rock, and dirt and a pallet dont quite work for those. i really like your videos they get me pumped up about my business and the warm months.

Your awesome!
-
what about grass!?
-
Well considering the fact that your half ton truck isn't even rated to haul 2500 lbs in the bed, and the fact that your bed was barely "squatting" and hardly even came up after load was removed, I'd bet dollars to donuts you didn't even have 1000 lbs in your truck, much less 2500.

Lol... cool idea man but you don't need 20k for a dump truck you can get a dump truck for around 7k or you can put a dump kit on your pick up.
-
ever found anything for dirt? that works
-
You should check out a dumperdogg

Nice.
Prob. can do same for old grass(sod), I would make full length skid with flat board screwed.
Great advice. -
That's a great idea. the pallet acts as a cab guard too
-
are those sides bolted onto the truck or just the bed pocket?

Nice one
