Air intake is humongous ! Arse hole with afterburner is even bigger !!!! It's the biggest I have ever seen on a fighter !!! All bow to Russians!!!!
-
lets be honest and cut the propaganda shit !! our jets where no match for US jets in Vietnam and not even today ! its just the truth and we all know it
-
Russia has good fighters and good pilots... I am a retired major in the us air force and flew the f15 which Is an amazing aircraft...
-
But MIG 25 would face dificulties intercepting SR 71 it 0.1 mach slower, that mean an SR 71 going at full speed could be intercepted only from the side, frontal attack was not solution, they would pass by each otjher, before mig 25, or for that matter anything that is in service wordwide now, could lock on target. Not saying its bad plane, its great one, but after USAF put its hand on MiG 25 they started long range reckon glights over soviet arospace, not a single SR 71 was ever downed to the MiGs

21:11 LMFAO "Potential Enemy"

yes it's pro Russian but all the American ones are pro USA. best Soviet Fighter cannot compare to the f15 with all its new engines and computer programming.

PURE RUSSIAN DOCUMENTARY
-
copies of american planes starting with the F-14 designed by Bob Kress
-
I have to say this, Russians make better airplanes, but Americans make super engines.
If a t-50 has the f-119 or f-135 engine, what can it do? -
LOL those planes are a joke; they're not even as good as the one's the U.S. designed and built in the 1970's!
-
Great documentary, a little pro-Russia/Soviet revisionist slant, but it's to be expected and still a great documentary none the less. The Cold War was an interesting time because at one point Americans thought they were slacking behind the Soviet designs and out came the modern F-16s and F-18s, they are 30-20 years old now though, but constantly refined. Russians are currently playing catch up to American F-22s, while China and India and many other countries are starting their fifth generation fighters.

THIS IS GREAT
-
Let's just say every nation in the UN have good planes
-
usa no have minimal possibility vs russians
-
soviet copy the usa sidewinder
-
the words "Modern" and "Soviet" should never be used in the same sentence. or "Modern" and "Russian"

Much respect to Soviet (now Russian) designs over the years. I flew the F-15 in the 1980's, and even then, to join a massive turning fight was to die, to get picked off by lurking, unseen bandits.
Unfortunately, the emphasis on hyper-maneuverability is no longer key to success. The close turning fights of WW2 on up to the early 1970's are an anachronism in 2015. Now, stealth and sensors and weapons trump maneuverability. It will be high speed hit and run instead. Why emphasize air show tricks when I can offload my BFM into a 50G missile, and let it do the work for me? -
It's funny watching propaganda from the other side for a change

Why we humans love to fight with each other in the name of economic policy, religion, colour, language spoken. If you look deep we are similar and our daily needs are also. I will not say that these technological developments are useless only because it is designed for destruction, we might use it in elsewhere. But imagine if we used this much effort and money in clean energy like controlled fission reaction, space technology etc. then should not we be in much better position as a human race. But we will not stop fighting with each other for mere short term political and economic gain in exchange for long term political and economic solution. We need a humanity revolution where we ask our children to be human first before we are national and religious. If we all learn to sacrifice national and religious interest for the interest of humanity then and only then we can called ourselves as a civilized society.
