Machines | Digging through old US Army gear looking for bug out equipment
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Just dug out my old US Military gear that has been in storage for years now. I am looking for a better bug out bag for my car. I have been using a milk crate packed with stuff, but now I want to change that. This old box has a lot of nice treasures for survival such as a radar scattering camo net which will stay in my survival camper. would you sell the belt you called junk
-
And a question are you "allowed" to keep the stuff legally

And I have one of those tent poles

All army gear is good survival gear

Those old LBV belts look like duty belts.

Thats the problem, I am no longer near the military as much. I do not get to see them as often as I did in Germany. I stayed and had my own business on the Army post for 9 years after I got out.

Give them my number!!!! D:< i've been searching FOR YEARS since i was homeless the first time. The few people i found that said they knew a Veteran either wanted to keep their gear, or gave it away already. s: just my rotten luck

Thank you

Sad, but I fear, true.

Yes, they are very valuable waterproof storage containers. And they were usually tossed out. Wish I had grabbed more of them when I was in the service.

Ten tear old Boy Scouts to the rescue!! XD At this rate, they're probably all that's left to save our Country!!

CRAZY SYCHRONICITY!!!!!!!! Yesterday i think it was i was JUST remembering the NBC decontamination wipes containers i used to have!!!!! HE's right! They are AWESOME whenever you need to keep small, important items waterproof, crush-resistant, and secure!! i had several as firemaking kits; housing a lighter, backup strike- anywhere and British lifeboat matches, a small candle and tinder. Nowadays, you could put some padding inside there, make a travel case for a cellphone, camera, small gps, etc.

No problem. Hope you find what you are looking for

Served 4 years. Was sent to Germany where I got out and stayed 11 years. Was a good time. Military taught me a lot and made me a man.

Army surplus stores. Garage sales. Meet returning soldiers. Lots of them have gear they dont want, but brought back with them.
