Machines | Death of a Garbage Truck
videos | at work | information | view | construction
By now, you should all be extremely familiar with this truck, after all, in my nearly 5 years on YouTube, this truck has been the most frequently recurring star of my channel. As I'm sure you have all noticed throughout my videos, this truck has always been very well cared for and has always appeared in tip-top shape on video. But unfortunately, this truck is getting old, and fast. The last time I had filmed this truck was not even three months ago, and it was still in absolute perfect condition, so I was amazed to see how much it had aged. Immediately after I filmed this video, a spare truck was dispatched to complete the route, which you will see in my next video. Enjoy!

I thought I was watching nature take its course and eliminate another garbage truck from the gene pool. But instead I saw a very much alive garbage truck, doing its job the best it can. It was far too inspirational for me.

I love the side losers
-
good speed for what he has. the aus are 500x easier than that. side loader not front

cool trucks america :D in germany we still have a normal truck with one guy getting all the containers to the back of the truck ^^ man we are outdated
-
It us due to over idle, lot of unburned fuel being sent out of stack, diesel engines go forever
-
I love Black smoke as well wish the newer trucks etc did it
-
The left side looked black!

We have a winner! I was wondering how long it would take someone to notice that! I thought that was probably the most obvious problem, besides the smoke!
-
I guess they didn't bother putting the grille back on lol. Nice footage!
-
Does all the black smoke have something to do with why he broke down? This truck is a little slower than the spare, but still way more violent than the Curotto Can I have filmed in my area. Great job!

I forgot to mention in the description that they have literally taken the whole engine apart and put it back together and still can't find what's wrong. They sent it off to a Freightliner dealership for a month, and they couldn't find the problem either. It's got other less obvious problems as well.

A diesel blowing black smoke is not death, it just needsto be repaired. It's just burning more fuel than it is supposed to, which is what the black smoke is. It's probably just a bad sensor.
-
Looks like there is a small smoke problem lol! the whole side is black lol. Great footage Bro!
-
Yeah that truck looks like it's reaching the end of it's useful life.
-
Love your footage! Keep it up!
-
Aww that sucks, well I guess every truck goes sometime, just like people...

Very cool! That's a shame. No truck spews that much smoke and will be around for a few years. Really sad to be honest. I like trucks that spew smoke, and this is cool and all, but I'd rather the truck not be broken. It's sad to see how they let the truck do retry much rot. :( anyways, very cool! Nice camera work! Nice dura-kan too!
