I was going through some old footage and found this really sweet video of Dumptruck and Porkchop grooming each other. This was when they were young, but I still catch them snuggling and grooming now and then. Sorry about the poor video quality. I thought this would be a good example for people to see the difference between biting and grooming. Grooming each other is a good sign that they are happy and compatible. This is what I mean when I try to explain that grooming is more of a corn on the cob motion than a bite.

This is sooooo cute!!! April's animals i admire you and how well you treat your animals you put loads of time and effort making these vids well done keep up the good work ,could you please make like maybe another playground vid or exploring vid that would be great the ☺ i have 3 Russian dwarf hamsters i wish i could sent a pick but i cant ,we had to split up them as they were always fighting how are yours not fighting like mine????

my female hamsters would groom each other but because one is trying to groom the other, they would constantly be moving so that would make one of them annoyed and start attacking. im getting a saucer for them soon to see if they will express their energy on that instead of on each other

Lol my 2 winter whites does that everyday it's so cute and when the fatter hamster yum lies onto his back and the other hamster tom starts grooming him, yum will start pooping

Hello, my 9 yr old daughter is crying right now since she found a small lined wound at the back of her Campbell dwarf hamster. Is that because of age? Or fleas because there are hundreds of red fleas crawling around in the hamster's cage. Please answer and also tell us how to prevent it in the future- thank you for your time
