I respond by saying "Why are you so angry on a Saturday evening? It must really suck to wake up everyday so miserable." She does not like this. She starts pointing her finger in my face while continuing to scream and ending every one of her sentences with "...you asshole!" I eventually get smart and start filming her to protect myself. As soon as I pulled out my camera, the woman drops the vulgar words and seemingly starts acting like a human being. But then, she tries grabbing my phone. I tell her to not touch my phone or me for that matter. She replies with "or what...?" I say (while laughing) "...or I'll flip that cup out of your hand." What does she do? She throws a cup of brown liquid on me. I don't know if it was tea or soda. I set my bike down to retaliate but I quickly decide it's not worth it. Out of nowhere, an off-duty police officer comes to my defense threatening to have her arrested. I ended up leaving the situation alone and riding away. In hindsight, I think I should have made her apologize, but I suppose the craziness was too much for me. I'm not sure an apology would have made me feel any better about the situation.
