admirable attempt, but like electric power, commercial transportation of materials will always rely on diesel/gasoline power and will ocean faring ships transporting containers relying on bunker C, or cargo fuel. as for personal transportation once a replacement engine can move 4 220 lbs humans at 60 mph for 3 hours over a varying terrain with upto 6% upslope grades then you will have a viable replacement for a crude oil gasoline powered internal combustion engine...for the moment air power joins electric power as a cute curiosity for greenies to putter around town grocery shopping and not doing any real meaningful replacement transportation

FACTORY FARMING OF CATTLE IS!!! It is many times worse.
All transportation including cargo, air etc. make up only 17%~ of greenhouse gasses.
The huge expanse of factory farms full of fermenting shit makes up around 80. -
