what kind of payload can one expect from a truck like this?
-
Hello I've got a 75 but it doesn't have a 350 emblem in the grill like yours I found one on ebay but I don't know how it would mount to the grill if you could help me id appreciate it
-
that's a truck right there

well after a good tune up this one works a little better and starts somewhat easier too. it still requires a little pedal pumping to get it going but that carb hasn't been touched since the truck was new either, maybe it's time for a little service work on it finally but every thing else works like a new truck still. i'm not really much of a fan of that body style but it does run really well for all the more it really needs right now, still well worth the $2,500 i spent on it though.

Pardon the Email name but I have a 1975 K-20 With the exact engine as your truck. 350ci V8 4-bolt main open air cleaner. The only other difference i can see is my engine is painted the original Chevy orange. Different brakes though. It will start on the first turn in the winter. I refuses to quit. 4 barrel quadrajet. 300hp

@7ReyZor well he is a sharp horse, and the messed up thing is because he's kind of young still he'll get out there and romp and roll around and even chase a ball like a young puppy does lol
-
@SuperJrod5000 yeah a lot of people do that with them. but just be careful, and be sure you are doing it for yourself and plan to keep it because the kind of money you'll sink into converting it over to a stroker motor you'll probably never get back out of it again, it's kinda pricey to do that.

@AfterMidnightRider2 that's the way it came brand new in 1975
-
yea theres runs strong. At my dad work they have a 73 coustom 30. 350 4speed dump truck. It will keep up with there 95 3500hd 454 5speed. It will haul as much weight as the 95. But its starting to get rusty floor boards. They will keep it till they can't use it any more
-
@moparmn82 yeah this one is still in pretty good shape but could deffinately benefit from a stronger frame and a little more pep I mean the transmission is strong and so is the motor but no where near what i think it should have
-
my cousins granpa has one just like this just a 76 454 oringaly a 327 and a auto
-
@Tubbed69 yeah still trying to keep the old school chevy's alive man you know how it is. the horses are the neighbors but they are awesome horses too, lots of personality in all of them specially that one i showed in this video he's a total nut. lol
