Needs an exhaust extension!

when I worked for Car in the 70s we called starter motor. pony motors.
-
Loaded and unloaded all the time over the side of an old Hamilton lowboy, pulled with a Diamond T with a 220 Cummings in it, you didn't miss much scenery. Tractors had root plow on the back and a stacker or dozer on the front, both A IH TD25 and D82U the 25 would just barely fit and you had to turn it just at the right moment
-
move the truck further forward dummy.don't tear up the trailer.grandpa get the f--- out of the way.
-
We used to call that a "Pony Motor" that started the engine.
-
I have ran a D9 before and it is one bad boy but you better keep it on good ground
-
Nice machine ? ( x2) Does the pony motor need to be run out of gas/petrol ? I've heard this & it sounds like it's still running as the dozer drives away ?
-
George R.R. Martin taking a break from his book writing to direct dozers. Get back to work, George!
-
Where did you get the film extra "Old Man with Stick"
Should have given him a credit for his performance!
Pity people like this no longer exist in real life in England any more. -
Is the starter a small gas engine???
-
Man I used push scrapers with one these

D9=bigass machine
-
Must have a G M motor.
-
Watched this again, I drove 5 axle low beds, mostly d6 and smaller..270/200 hitachi hoes and all the other iron needed in sewer/ road building on Vancouver island. It was Over the beaver tail or off the side! Frozen steel on frozen steel equals a bit of a rush at times.😠

Gotta love a drop trailer.

Amatures'

Man, that thing is a beast. Clanking and chugging and rumbling along. Thank you for the great video
-
Never heard the term "donkey start", it has always been "pony motor" in my last 25 years of operating.
