An outfit I worked for had a 41, a 51 and a 55. I ended up on the 55 and a D-4 mostly. I like a 51 but a 55 is better. Good machines all.

955 became 951 then 953

My father had a 951B from almost brand new 1969 or 1970. 3304 Normally aspirated 4 Cylinder diesel, 85 Horsepower at the flywheel 1 1/2 yard bucket, Power shift transmission, Pedal steer, auto lift kick out, and return to dig features of the loader control. He dug about 5000 basements in Lake, McHenry, and Kenosha counties in Illinois and Wisconsin with it from 1970 to 1985. Excellent excellent machine!! I can still hear it run in my head.

The hour meeter is in the engine compartment on the fuel pump, I have the 952B and it is very easy to use and very tuff. It most likly has the cat D333 with turbo
becuase it looks very much like mine. -

Track loaders are great I got to run one for a while, once you get used to them they are a handy machine. Back in the 70s they were as common as mud, Caterpillar and International were the better ones because of the powershift transmission. I was told the old John Deeres were not that good because they used brake steer.

sept for me haha im still on one trackloader that is!
-
the 941b had 80 horses
-
Made from '67 to '70. 80 horses. Pedal steer. Direct drive was available but I'm sure most were power shift -- as is this unit. I think that the hour meter exploded at some point -- as evidenced by the gaping hole in the dash.*wink* I think that this unit is a bit too new for the engine-mounted "Service Meter" arrangement -- but I've been wrong before. Too bad it's languishing like that. Looks to be a serviceable tractor.

Your in my country now Todd! Haha love the old track loaders kinda neat cause there's not many around no more haha thanks for sharing!

That's too bad, those are a good machine to have on a ranch or a farm, decent for sticky little back-fill jobs too. Hopefully somebody will come to her rescue. Thanks for the vid, man.
-
I could use it!
-
Still good i meant

Still better than a Llama banging a cow that was the most disturbing video you ever made lol. Old track loaders are pretty much done there isn't many old timers left that used to run them.
