-
welding outdoors ?? They must end with very poor quality
-
What is it about welders that makes 'em want to constantly piss on each-others chips?
-
Its funny to see so many people in the comments talking about how "his welds will never hold". Seems like they don't understand exactly whats going on here. He's bore welding. He's adding metal in the hole just so he can bore it out to the right size.

nice setup that guy has.

when I worked for many years as a class A welding for a big corporation in the bush, I worked minimum 12 to 14 hours a day, many days in the -40 winters worked 16 to 20 hours a day, until one very cold winter night 50 miles from camp in -50 I fell 16 feet to the ground an broke my back, my days of welding long hours for someone came to an end, now I work for my self in a heated shop a few hours a day, a lot of times I push my self and work longer, then I am out of business for sometime 3 to 10 days totally, did get anything from the company, "NOT" NOT EVEN A GET WELL CARD I was just a number to them, not a person, made them millions, were I am today, just trying to make ends meet, could even get wsib as no one seen me fall, as a welding there you worked alone 90%% of the time, and on a late Friday night shift all foramens are gone home by 4pm, so being I could not report to anyone until the following Monday, wsib denied my clam,,, left to starve and make it totally on my own to this very day. that's a very long story put very short

Tasty work there.

I have seen other set ups that are real good. I have become a real fan of mobile line boring & line welding.I used to be subbed to you before, after changing my channel name I lost touch.

So how do you square the tooling to the boom?
-
The welder sounds like you got your gas turned off.....
-
Well, it would seem that this guy has all the bells and whistles you could want on a service unit.
A crane on the back deck, a shelter to keep the weather and sun off, a generator, lights, welder[s], air arc, tool boxes, tool tubs for hand tools and one or more microwaves for keeping the operator fuelled and working hard. Did I miss anything?
About the only things I didnt see were a fridge, a lathe and some sort of mill, but you cant have everything or can you? -
nice trailer.. all his bells and wishes

man like that only works 30 weeks a year
