videos | at work | information | view | construction
Dumping 22 tons of sand with the Caterpillar CT660 tri-axle dump truck. The turning radius is unbelievable on this truck. Huge upgrade over the old truck. Like what you see? hello, I'm asking myself for quite a while now why you would want to use sand to fill something up? wouldnt gravel
if properly compactetbe much more stable, especially when it freezes. I'm a german landscaper and we usually only use gravel as fill, thats why i ask.
greets from oktoberfestcountry :) -

Nice toys, Tom.
For the tail gate release latch hooks, is that done automagically via electronic release now? Is there a rocker switch buried on the mega central console? (Luv the look of the interior of the 660s, btw!) I saw the hooks slowly disengage from the pin before the dump cycle began. No more manual lever pulling required at the front of the bump box in this hi-tech beast. -
I like the plate on the truck dirt mover surprised it was not taken good one for a dump .

Wow our 8 legger is only legal for 15t in NZ

You should make another video on bobcats please cause when I grow up I want to be a landscaper and need to know how to use and service them thanks :)

I like the license plate

Are those your diesel cans there? Is that how you fuel your machines on the jobsite?
-
16.5 ton is all we can haul on our truck with the same set up as you have here in Minnesota, the bridge laws must be different there?
-
What are your road restrictions there? 22 tons on a tri ax here is overweight, but also depends on the weight of the truck i guess.
-
i love the license plate

The first time I drove a dump truck I kept thinking I had a trailer on and kept going the opposite way when I backed up.
-
Something cathartic about that. :-)

what do you think of a short video, if its possible, showing the view from a mirror? showing the blind spots going down the road and what you see backing up, like in the video where you backed in along the house, that's something the public never gets to see. just the limited view from the mirror.

How many hour on it? >.<
-
Thoughts on the discontinuation of the cat trucks?

I love the license plate, "DRTMVR" lol. The shameless YouTube promotion is nice too
