videos | at work | information | view | construction
Even for a 385 this bucket looks big, probably meant for mass excavation work. More videos of this machine to come.

he,s got to big of a bucket on that machine that machine alone cost close to a millon dollars that bucket is either a 10 or 12 yard bucket if he would go to a 8 yard bucket he would save a lot of wear and tear on the machine
-
there is a switch for that excavator inside I think it's on the menu too I think so it does not tip over
-
pretty good job, tilted excavator can fall over
-
Turn you're tracks and slit the difference!
-
Looks like it needs a lot more counterbalance....
-
It's a sewer boom with a mass excavation bucket. Not really what the engineers at Cat had in mind.

Look at that track come off the ground every time!!

Bucket is big but quick hitch adds more weight, and you end up tipping each time, I know I've had big excavators and always take the quick coupler off when you need to go big digging. He's going to end up busting the bottom rollers banging the tracks down each cycle. I've done that and owning the company it cost me to put it right, nice machine all the same.

clumsy with that quick coupler he's better off with a pin on bucket or better yet get himself a cat 245DLC heavy lift trencher arrangement and be get real BIG AL BOSTON MA.
