No it is only when it backs up because the driver can see to the left, right and in front of the machine but not behind the excavator

Definitely a skilled operator but a local company did this 1 better - they took an old concrete pump truck(mainly for the booms I think) and combined it with the vacuum pump assembly from a sewer vac that some cities buy to clean out catch-basins. They use that to empty out gons of small-diameter gravel for pea-rocking(aka chip-sealing). Seems to work for them though I don't know what the life-span of the guts of the thing are. It's their money...! (It DOES make a lot of noise!)

incrível a habilidade desse operador e qualidade desse equipamento.

There are Caterpillar drivers and then there are operators! This guy can operate his machine!
-
Then it ran out of fuel and was permanently stuck on the rail car.........
-
why does the backup alarm on the excavator keep getting set off?
-
complimenti!! questa si che è una manovra al limite dell, impossibile veramente pericolosa-per far questo ,bisogna aver le palle quadre. veramente bravo l,autista- papi

Some kind of ramp would definitely be in order. Just because a vehicle CAN climb steps isn't reason enough to do it. Other than that, a very impressive demonstration, and 20 million viewers would not be interested in the easy way.

a Rail car that is a Ramp Would be easier. or even a flat bed rail car could be used. safer.
