videos | at work | information | view | construction
http://OnSite.Supply CAT 259D vs. Bobcat T630 are basically apple to apple machines. Same power, same weight. However as an owner of compact track machines are there a few things to consider: Dealer Service, Ease of Maintenance, Uptime due to design advantages.

Bobcat does Not have a Diesel Particulate Filter, only mfr without one. i like the bobcat cab way more, more room and a better layout.

Just wondering, but how much did you pay for your bob cats?
-
what do you think about other brands like ASV, Deere, CNH, Takeuchi...etc?

We just got a Case tr310 and love it you guys should check out a case machine hydronic flows r better then cat also we opted to get high flow on our which is 31 gpm and the 32@ is 74hp and no dpf fluid just fuel and go.

I just serviced our 259d today and it's not exactly easy also there are many more hidden grease fittings on the 259 whereas the bobcats are very easy to realize their locations. Example being on the lift arm if you go on the cab side of either arm there are 2 fittings on the little arm I believe it's some sort of stabilizer but they are not very obvious if you are greasing by yourself and haven't lifted the arms up. Also the oil filter is in a very "interesting" location it's not impossible by any means but comparing to a bobcat there is no competition I think... I like both companies and both products, our company uses both as well as other model cat multi-terrain track machines, thanks for your video!

Cat Service, on all fronts, has proven to be amazing here in michigan. I think the cat track loaders are a good machine and you can put them through a lot of abuse.

we run a rental store in ny .we used to rent cat now we rent bobcats.the bobcat hands down is a way better machine.we do all repairs, the tranverse mounted engines in the bobcat are a better design than the cats.also the cats are made in japan.chinese metal.ill bet your a cat salesperson

I operated the 259d for 2 years tracks and sprockets wear to fast hoses are exposed in the undercarriage it's a strong machine but u get a rebar wood our anything else in the undercarriage that's down time just to fix the hydro hose , plus for sucks bobcat t630 no dpf hoses aren't exposed less downtime and there stronger then the 259d that's why I have a t630

Undercarriage on these two machines, actually VERY DIFFERENT as opposed to being "basically the same"
Cat has a torsion axle suspension while the bobcat track frames are bolted directly to the machines and have very little to no suspension, benefit being that the Cat rides is way better.
Another big difference is the Cab on the Cat, their "Cab One" design is the best in the industry, truly sealed and pressurized, super quiet, super comfortable, and super easy to service, the AC system and cab are all integrated together as one piece.
I could go on and on but I have some ice cream to eat. BTW foot pedal controls are for your dads dad, they will be extinct in five years. Cat controls are there for a reason. -
CATTAPILLAR WINS FOR MEEEEE

Nice video. I still like Bobcats because as you said they hold up great. However, at 4:24 look closely, you missed a very big detail why I don't like cats undercarriage. I'm a skid steer guy anyway, I don't really have a need for track loaders in my business.

That's not a dpf on the bobcat it's just a catalyst muffler. No regen on small and mid frame machines, only large frame 74hp and larger.

Are you still having issues with your Bobcats? I'm in the market for a CTL and Bobcat so far is the cheapest by quite a bit, however reliability has me concerned.
