if you want to be apprentice operator and be union, you have to pass the asvab test.math, mechanical, writting test.

People might frown on console gaming but the eye-hand coordination in heavy equipment holds weight.
-
one thing you should make clear is on the eye contact. a lot of people think you mean just stare at the operator. they don't understand that you mean verbally get there attention so that they look at you and are 100% aware of where you are.

would love to be a heavy equipment or crane operator, I have left the printing industry that I excelled in for many years due to the decline in printed materials in recent years...and have been trying to get on as an operator apprentice for 2 years now....seems impossible to get into if you ask me. Only guys that grew up on farms that already have experience can get in I guess!!

I wanna do this as a job and I'm 15 my dad taught me how to use these when I was about 12 then he passed away I'm familiar sort of with these but what requirements for school wise and could tech do this or?

I am a freelance web developer/software analyst. I am working on a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. I am also an entrepreneur and I am re-vamping my current business model to focus on the research side of computer science. This will go along nicely with my degree and will allow me to become a more adventurous soul!

I did a quick search for you and found that the alberta (dot) ca website lists the hourly rate being inbetween $24-$38! Just Google the following phrase: "hourly rate for certified load operator in alberta canada". Work hard and don't miss a day of work and you are sure to be hitting $38/hr before you know it! I am jealous!
