A prime example of using what you have, not the best machine for clearing but it got the job done.

How much would clearing 2 acres like this normally cost?
-
CHRIS: You are a great operator and you sure make the clearing look like fun.
You are a tree huggers worst nightmare, CHRIS. LOL. -
You would be surprised
-

-

-
didnt you go and see them dudes...could have sworn I saw a vid with you in it once.
-
job was taken sight unseen and the owner said it was just small bushes. the root rake will not yank out these trees like a regular blade will
-
Great operating skills! At first I thought my video player is on fast forward... :)

BTW, where did you park your rig tonight? I can't seem to find it . . . and I have 40 pounds of heavy grease.......
-
:-) Okay, I greased the zerk fittings FOR the tracks. Didn't use one of those pressurized gizmo thingies either; used a hand pump grease gun.
-
Thanks Chris.

good job. You need to get a real tractor and try it again. Once you go CAT you never go back
-
If it's moving it's safe. If it's stopped, and late at night . . .
-
dude why are you so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Needed your root rake on

That's what we WANT you to believe. BTW, we also have a volcano (Mt. Shasta) and the lowest point in the western hemisphere - Death Valley (appropriate name) at 282 feet below sea level. We're not "mostly desert" but we have a LOT of desert. Want some of it?

Just in case someone doesn't believe the "one tree = one house" claim. There's one in Santa Rosa California but it's a church. This unique structure was built from one redwood tree that stood 275 ft high and was 18 ft in diameter. The gigantic redwood grew in Stumptown, California (now Guerneville) with the lumber costing a total of $3000. It was the original home to the First Baptist Church of Santa Rosa and has been home to several other unique uses in more recent decades.

Did you know that a Cummins engine ran in the Indy 500 back in the fifties. Driven by Freddie Agabashian.

Oh, please don't quit knocking 'em down. I really love it; I was just funnin' with you. Oh, and I'm no stranger to dozers; I greased the tracks once when I was a kid. They wouldn't let me drive it so now I have to get my enjoyment watching you run all that heavy equipment. BTW, I like the excavator best.

why you gotta pick on the little trees.... they will grow.... if i quit knocking them down!
