3. I have a 97 tacoma with frame rust right through and an even worse leaf spring bracket (frame that the bracket is welded on is half rotted away). I am no good at welding and dont even want to try it, how much would it cost to pay someone to do it?

5. Bro your weld look a bit cold turn you amperage up in move slower in do the a weve pattern in do a few runs on a peace of scrap metal to set up before you weld on ur frame couse it will crack if u dont get good penetration in you will be grinding in doing over or worse yet get in a accident 
6. got a 94 toyota the owner didnt want to even bother with the frame, its a GREAT truck, NO body rust, no scratches in the paint, engine and trans were amazing! only 153K miles, except for the rusted out frame, it was an amazing truck i could NOT pass it up i got a sweet deal, patched up the frame, not it runs like a champ! :)

9. Do not drive it over 35....my god it is done 
10. Neighbor of mine had a nissan with around the same level of rust. Japanese quality steel is piss poor. Apparently applying some type of corrosion resistant coating isn`t in the Japanese language. 
11. just found out today my truck has the same problem i got till sept to get it fixed what state do u live in cuz im hopein where it goes it will still pass thru i dont have the money for a new truck def but its in the same spot my buddy told me just go to work cuz the brakets could brake off the frame where its broke and lose my ass end but just wonderin what state u live in to know how it will pass insp like that 95 c 1500's the truck

14. Nice Fix , sometimes its worth fixing if to learn how to repair yourself. Looks like you used flux core, might have been smoother with shielded gas (mig). Also did you spray it with rustoleum afterwards. Will last you another 10 years!
15. I had the same problem with my 94 Toyota on the gas tank side too the tank holds all the dirt in. It was the only spot on my frame that was bad good luck
16. was your eyes open or closed when you welded this? dude take that some where and let someone fix those welds!!

18. Nuthing wrong with a Toyota frame there kid. Just take Care of one. At the first sign of rust, fix it early!
19. that frame is screwed thats why i wont buy toyota rust magnets
20. Shoulda had someone who knew how to weld do it.
