"A pulse jet engine (or pulsejet) is a type of jet engine in which combustion occurs in pulses. Pulsejet engines can be made with few or no moving parts, and are capable of running statically." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse_jet_engine FAQ: Where did you get the plans? - No plans, just good estimates. Dimensions were estimated from various youtube videos and online demonstrations. What is is made from? - 1.6mm 316 stainless tube. Exhaust is 2.5", 6" combustion chamber, 1" intakes. What does it run on? - Propane gas. It has 3mm diameter gas nozzles. Thrust? - Don't know, haven't measured it. How loud is it? - It's rude. Will measure one day. What's its purpose? - Wanted to build pulse jet. Science and engineering is cool. Future plans? - Thrust augmenter, mounts and platform for thrust tests. • Hearing protection was worn by all participants and spectators • The neighbours were aware of what we were doing • Gas lines were prepared by qualified tradesman Music by Kevin MacLeod: http://incompetech.com/ Video by Russ, Jase, Susan Edited by Russ

Pipe dimensions are in the description.

Beautiful craftsmanship on the fabrication. Congratulations on the extreme throttle range. Tell me, how much thrust you think you're producing? Also would you tell me the diameter of the exhaust the diameter of the 2 intakes and the diameter of the combustion chamber. I'm planning on building a Chinese designed pulse jet up in the 50 pound thrust range. your dimensions would help me immeasurably. Thank you in advance. John

Thats a nice very well put together engine. Nice welds and nice wide throttle range

Let's see that strapped to Jason's cruiser

Very cool, nice job.
