Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ), one of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy vehicles, set a world record in the dump truck hauling capacity category by carrying 503.505 tonnes of debris. This became possible thanks to the unique heavy-duty vehicle designed by BelAZ - the world's largest dump truck BelAZ 75710 with the payload capacity of 450 tonnes unveiled in September 2013. On 22 January the dump truck was loaded up with several dozen specially made concrete blocks weighing around 15 tonnes each. In a solemn ceremony on a test site, the Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Book of Records, an edition representing the Guinness Book of Records on the post-Soviet territory, documented the record and presented the diploma to the Belarusian company. http://www.belarus.by/en/
